I am consistently fascinated by the percussive aspects initially. I have a preference for incorporating numerous natural and acoustic-sounding components to infuse it with a sense of humanity. Once I have established several percussive loops, I begin to explore various chord progressions, bass/lead melodies, and presets. Massive and Serum are my trusted synthesizers, so I was thrilled that XOXO included both. Once the primary instruments are set, I delve into experimenting with FX and utilizing individual samples. I thoroughly enjoy incorporating those; I do tend to lose myself in the process.
I have really high standards when it comes to sample packs. If they're all over the place or only suited for a genre I don't produce, I usually toss them in the trash. I believe it's the responsibility of pack providers to offer producers a pack that is versatile, organized, and not overly manipulated. I can't stand it when samples come with built-in reverb and other effects. I strongly believe in the art of sample selection. I don't want to process every single element in my song. Ideally, I want to be able to drag and drop my samples, adjust the panning and levels, and move on to the next step. I don't waste time on sounds or loops that don't resonate well with me. However, if I were to give one piece of advice to others, it would be that "less is more." Choose your samples wisely instead of relying on six different plugins. This approach will save you time, creative energy, and produce better results.
I began creating music pieces with a similar style as Clams Casino, and later transitioned to producing tracks of my own unique sound. Future Bass, and at the moment I'm simply testing the , and at the moment I'm simply testing the Soulectiontype vibes. The plugins I rely on most are certainly Ozone 7. Many mistakenly believe it's only for mastering, but boy are they wrong! Ozone offers fantastic tools like a mesmerizing stereo imager and thrilling exciter that I confidently apply to individual channels for a more pristine mix. I also love experimenting with different types of vibes. Serum/MassiveI am not afraid to extensively utilize the U-he Diva synthesizer, which, in my personal opinion, is a highly underrated instrument. Additionally, during the time I rented a music studio, I would flawlessly blend my samples on a vintage Neve board. Although the exact model escapes my memory, I distinctly recall the studio owner treating it with utmost care, indicating its significant value. This Neve board truly enhanced the warmth and clarity of my creations, making it irreplaceable. Although I acknowledge the significance of hardware equipment, their costs can be prohibitive. While Waves plugins are like hidden treasures, the key lies in thoroughly understanding the intricate details of each individual plugin. Surprisingly, even stock plugins can yield remarkable results when skillfully employed.

My personal experience working with them has allowed me to witness their unwavering commitment to quality control and meticulous attention to detail. I am proud to say that I will continue using their XOXO product for the foreseeable future. This particular release boasts an impressive collection of innovative loops and percussion elements that I am eagerly anticipating utilizing in my own music production. Furthermore, the presets included in this package are truly on another level. Admittedly, I may be biased as I contributed to their creation, but I cannot help but feel hesitant about freely sharing these invaluable gems with the public. Nevertheless, I am certain that fellow producers will undoubtedly appreciate the love and meticulous effort that has been poured into each and every one of them. Additionally, the abundance of drum fills included in this pack is particularly enticing as it addresses an area in which I personally struggle. I fully intend to take advantage of this resource in order to enhance my own musical creations.
